Sunset Yacht Rentals has seasonal part-time openings for 200 ton Captains and unlicensed Mates for their 2023 season.
Sunset Yacht Rentals operates a 103′ Broward Yacht on day charters out of Marina Bay, Quincy, MA.
Charter Captain
DUTIES
- Safe operation of a 103’ twin screw motor yacht conducting day/night trip charters in and around Boston harbor
- Adhering to all local and federal regulations
- Management of subordinate crew
- Delivering strong and positive customer service to embarked guests
- Routine vessel maintenance and cleaning
- Maintaining appropriate vessel logs
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- USCG 200 Ton Master
- Previous experience in Boston Harbor
- Previous experience as Captain
- Strong boat handling skills
- Strong communications skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Radar Observer
- FCC MROP
- Previous passenger vessel experience
- Small boat experience
- Current First-aid & CPR
- Diesel engine & mechanical skills

Mates
DUTIES
- Supporting the operation of a 103’ Broward motor yacht conducting day/night trip charters in and
around Boston harbor - Delivering strong and positive customer service to embarked guests
- Routine vessel maintenance and cleaning
- Supervise the safety of embarked guests and activities
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Small boat experience
- Strong communications skills
- Exceptional customer service abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 100 Ton Master
- Previous experience in Boston Harbor
- Previous charter or passenger vessel experience
- First-aid & CPR
