DESCRIPTION:
As a launch operator, your primary role will be to operate the launch, transporting customers from the pier to their boats on moorings and back onboard a 26′ Oldport launch. If you want to learn how to/ or like to do some boat handling, this is a Great summer job with many hour available and a flexible schedule. Season starts in the begging of may and ends in mid October. Pay starts at 20$/HR but if licensed and /or experienced lay will be higher based on that.

Looking for candidates who have a USCG license- but will train and pay for licensing of right candidates. We offer competitive pay based on your experience/licenses.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. assisting HPYC members and staff with boats and gear on the pier and beach
2. providing light maintenance on pier and yacht club
3. keeping pier, yacht club and beach clean,
4. opening up and closing up yacht club and pier office
5. reporting equipment and club maintenance issues to Pier Manager
6. bringing launch from mooring to pier at beginning of day and back to mooring at end of day
7. filling launch up with fuel
