DR. D. STEPHEN WHITE - BOARD OF TRUSTEES MEMBER

Dr. D. Steven White is a professor of marketing & international business at the Charlton College of Business, University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. His doctorate is in business administration with a major in marketing and a minor in information systems.

Steve’s research has appeared in the International Marketing Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Services Marketing, Thunderbird International Business Review, Journal of Marketing Management (U.K.), Journal of Marketing Education and International Business Review.

From January 2006 through May 2010, he was the chairperson of the department of management and marketing in the Charlton College of Business. His term as director of the university’s sustainability studies program followed his service as chairperson, from June 2010 through June 2012, during which time his team developed and launched the university’s graduate certificate in sustainable development.

Prior to entering academia he was vice president of an advertising agency, promoted sporting and special events, managed outdoor sporting goods stores/ski shops and served as an alpine ski instructor.
