Angela Dawicki currently serves as the Chief Academic Officer of Northeast Maritime Institute, Inc. She and Eric Dawicki are the owners and incorporators of Northeast Maritime Institute, having purchased the company in 1995. Over the past twenty (20) years, Mrs. Dawicki has served many roles at NMI, including maritime course curriculum development, most importantly during the transition of NMI from a self-study computer training facility into a full service maritime education and training school, offering U.S. Coast Guard approved courses. She was also responsible for implementing the ISO Quality Management System at NMI in 2008, and has served as the Quality Manager since that time under its ISO certification (currently ISO 9001:2008). Most recently, she was involved with the design, testing and implementation of a complete campus management software, which provides a management tool for the full student life cycle.
Mrs. Dawicki also serves as Vice President of Dominica Maritime Registry, Inc., which manages the Office of Maritime Affairs for the Commonwealth of Dominica’s Maritime Administration, including vessel registrations, technical services, inspections, regulatory services and mariner licensing and certification. She and Eric Dawicki are the owners and incorporators of Dominica Maritime Registry, Inc., assuming full ownership in 2014. In her sixteen (16) years with Dominica Maritime Registry, Mrs. Dawicki has been responsible for the development, implementation and management of the registry’s mariner and vessel database, which provides DMRI with the ability to maintain a complete vessel and mariner registry as well as produce the necessary registration, trade and licensing certificates to be issued to clients. Mrs. Dawicki was also responsible for implementing the ISO Quality Management System at NMI in 2008, and has served as the Quality Manager since that time under its ISO certification (currently ISO 9001:2008). She has been involved with the mariner licensing division’s in-service training and education design to meet international requirements.
From 1994 - 1995, Mrs. Dawicki served as a Project Manager in the Biomaterials Research Division of the Dept. of Orthopedics at Tulane Medical School. She was responsible for managing multiple projects related to implant design and implementation. She was responsible for calculating results from each research project, planning, budgeting and preparing final project reports to be presented in professional publications and symposiums.
Mrs. Dawicki holds a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering degree and a Master of Science in Biomedical Engineering degree from Tulane University.

3.NORTHEAST MARITIME INSTITUTE IS AN OPEN ADMISSIONS SCHOOL AND ADMITS ALL STUDENTS WHO MEET THE ADMISSION CRITERIA AS SET FORTH IN THE CATALOG.
4. THE CERTIFICATE OR DEGREE YOU OBTAIN FROM NORTHEAST MARITIME INSTITUTE UPON GRADUATION IS NOT THE SAME AS LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT, WHICH MAY BE REQUIRED FOR SOME
OCCUPATIONS, EMPLOYERS, OR STATES. THE COST OF ANY LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION OR THE COST OF ANY EXAMINATION FOR LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE TUITION COST OF THE PROGRAM AND IS ONLY INCLUDED IN THE TOTAL PROGRAM COST IF IT IS SPECIFICALLY ITEMIZED ON YOUR ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT.
