This 94-hour Master Not More Than 100 Gross Tons course satisfies the examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(I) for original issuance or 46 CFR 10.209 (c) (iii) for renewal of license as Master or Mate of Steam or Motor Vessels Not More Than 100 Gross tons (except ocean). This course covers the subjects and practical knowledge to perform as Master 25, 50, 100 GT, Near Coastal. covered topics include: license structure, rules of the road, watch-standing, navigation, shiphandling, emergency procedures, first aid, firefighting, pollution and National Maritime Law.

Class days and time: Mon-Fri, 8:30 am- 5:00 pm; Evening classes also available (generally) Mon, Wed, and Thurs - 6:30- 9:30 pm
Prerequisite: Sea time required by 46CFR Subpart D (min. 720 days of sea-service; vessel size requirements)
