Captain Martin Legg holds an STCW 95 Unlimited Masters license issued by the UK MCA, Marshall Islands, Bahamas and Netherlands, an Higher Nautical Diploma in Nautical Science.
Martin has over 22 years sailing experience aboard a wide variety of deep sea vessels, including bulk and general cargo ships, oil tankers, cruise ships and Dynamic Positioning cable laying/ROV vessels. Since making the move ashore he has worked as a Marine Surveyor in Savannah, GA.
Captain Legg serves as the Director of Education as well as an instructor at NMI.
