This16 Hour USCG approved course teaches safe navigation of vessels engaged in towing, the practical application of towing techniques, towing equipment nomenclature and its use. The course will satisfy the examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.205(i) for original issuance of a license as Apprentice Mate (Steersman) of Towing Vessels.
