License Management

Northeast Maritime Institute offers students the ability to submit credentials for an annual Electronic Mariner Credential Recordkeeping and Renewal Alert Service. For a fee of $75/year or Membership into our MET CO-OP Program, Northeast Maritime Institute will administer your records while providing reassurance, as we are looking out for your best interests.

Electronic Mariner Credential Record Keeping
Northeast Maritime Institute will assist students in completing license applications. Once completed we will assist in sending all paperwork to the United States Coast Gaurd. Students taking advantage of his valuable service, will have all license documentation saved on Northeast Maritime Institute’s secure server for reference at any time. Records stored can be certifications, applicaton package, resume, and copy of License/ Credentials.

Renewal Alert Service- COMING SOON!!
Northeast Maritime Institute (NMI) provides alerts to members who are enrolled in this service. Students are required to create a student profile, supply NMI with your e-mail address, expiration information, and when the student would like to be notified of their renewal. By doing this, a notification will automatically be sent to the students email address and NMI’s Main Office. Someone from the Main Office ofNMI will email the student with a copy of the most recent application package and work with the student to schedule an appointment to assist in submitting renewal paperwork.
