This course is U.S. Coast Guard Approved and STCW 95 Compliant.

This course satisfies the requirements of 46 CFR 10.301-304, and approval is granted subject to these conditions.  Any applicant successfully completing the 30-hour Tankerman Familiarization, Liquefied Gas this course and presenting his/her Certificate of Training at a Regional Exam Center will satisfy the training requirement of 46 CFR 13.409 for original endorsement as Tankerman-Assistant GL.  This course prepares students to work on Liquefied Gas Tankers.  They will learn about all types of liquefied gas tankers, cargo containment and hazards, pollution, safety, and terminology.
