U.S. Coast Guard Approved; STCW 95 Compliant

An applicant's successfully completion of the 80-hour Celestial Navigation course with a passing grade of at least 80% will satisfy the Celestial Navigation training requirements for certification as Officer in Charge of a Navigational Watch on vessels of 500 or more gross tonnage (ITC);  or, if presented within one year of the completion of training, the celestial navigation examination requirements of 46 CFR 10.215 (c) and 10.401 (d) for deck license up to Master Not More Than 500/1600 Gross Tons Upon Oceans, including Mate or Master of Offshore Supply Vessels. This is a USCG and STCW 95 approved course.
