As President of Northeast Maritime Institute since 1995, Mr. Dawicki has grown the organization to include two full bridge simulators, a full offering of Coast Guard approved courses, and a full upgrade of teaching facilities. The motto "Honor the Mariner" holds true to his heart.

Eric holds a Third Mate license with experience on LNG tankers, ferry vessels and cargo ships. Eric is heavily involved with the U.S. Coast Guard foundation and the International Maritime Organization. 

He is involved with program development for the Institute as well as the many maritime consulting programs the Institute has managed for Shipping Companies and other Flag Administrations.
