An Englishman by the ‘grace of God’, Martin holds an STCW 95 Unlimited Masters license issued by the UK MCA, Marshall Islands, Bahamas and Netherlands, an HND in Nautical Science and a plan to re-colonize the New World one accent at a time.
Martin has over 20 years sailing experience aboard a wide variety of deep sea vessels, including bulk and general cargo ships, oil tankers, cruise ships and cable laying/ROV vessels. Since making the move ashore he has worked as a Marine Surveyor in Savannah, GA and now enjoys applying his experience to the courses here at NMI.
