David Wood, Navigation Instructor

David served 30 years active duty with the U.S. Coast Guard, serving as Chief Officer on the S/Y Sea Cloud, Commander of the Barque Eagle. David also served on a number of USCG Cutters during his service time. David currently holds a Master of Ocean Auxiliary Sail Vessels of Any Gross Tons license with Radar endorsement. He teaches Bridge Resource Management and Celestial Navigation at the Institute. |
